The ASCII Chart Desk Accessory is something that I originally hacked together because I was tired of looking up ASCII key equivalents.
It opens a window & builds a chart displaying all 256 chars. The ASCII Chart menu can be used to change the displayed font and size (9, 10, or 12 point only). This feature makes it easy to see all characters in a font at a glance; especially nice for picture fonts.
Typing any character or clicking on a character on the chart will highlight that character on the chart and show its hexadecimal and decimal equivalent on the side of the chart. Additionally, up to 255 characters can be pasted from the clipboard to the chart, causing each character to highlight in sequence. Click the mouse after a paste to abort the display.
